The Brief

Signal, a creative tech-focused agency, was looking to appoint a reliable fit out company in Gloucestershire to help them with their office relocation to the centre of Cheltenham. The project required precise start-to-end management, specialist design services and an experienced installation team to ensure strict deadlines and budget requirements were met.

The client’s brief was clear: they wanted a hybrid workplace to align with the company’s forward-thinking style. This layout would empower staff to decide where and when they work. When it came to design details, a focus was placed on an ‘organic’ theme that subtly incorporated company branding and messages throughout. As with every office fit out, we collaborated with the client’s project team during every stage to ensure we were accurate in the delivery of their new hybrid workspace.

For this project, we partnered with our co-brand, Gravity Office Interiors. Together, we worked to deliver the client’s office concept to completion.

The Solution

At Contract Interior Systems, our services cover the complete fit out, from initial consultations and briefing to the final installation. With the help of our partner brand, Gravity, the project followed a streamlined process, with full client involvement throughout.

Our design services are produced in-house. For this office fit out, our team of specialists placed a large focus on the space planning of the new office area, producing detailed floor plans, vision boards, 3D visuals and detailed drawings that reflected the dynamic work model the client wanted to embrace.

The project involved the design, space layout and specification of informal and formal meeting spaces, collaboration zones, reservable acoustic booths, workshops, breakout areas, kitchen facilities and effective zoning methods throughout.

Once the design plans had been signed off, detailed drawings were passed on to our installation team. These helped our fitters to complete the office fit out quickly and accurately.

We installed glazed glass partitioning to form meeting rooms with maximum light flow, high end acoustic booths, a functional kitchen area, office flooring, commercial lighting and more. At the centre of the office, we installed the ‘hub’; a relaxed and informal breakout area for staff.

With over 40 years of experience, we took care to ensure the installation was completed with minimal disruption to the rest of the workplace and that we left the site clean and ready for occupation.

With a strict move in date, our experienced project managers ensured that, despite delivery delays, the client’s hybrid office fit out in Cheltenham was delivered on time and within budget.
