At Contract Interior Systems, we have over 40 years of experience in the ceiling industry. When it comes to installing mineral fibre ceilings, we can offer a vast number of ceiling tiles to suit the requirements of the workplace. From increased acoustic control to light reflectance, we can find the right solution for you.

What are Mineral Fibre Ceilings?

Mineral fibre ceilings use tiles that typically consist of a varying mixture of mineral wool, perlite, clay, cellulose and starch. With a variety of mineral fibre ceiling tiles available, they are a cost-effective solution for businesses to take control of their workspace.

There are two standard sizes of mineral fibre ceiling tiles to choose from, 1200 x 600mm (rectangular) and 600 x 600mm (square). At CIS, we can supply and install both of these options from some of the world’s leading ceiling tile manufacturers, such as Armstrong, OWA and AMF. What’s more, our team is also able to source less common ‘planks’, which come in varying sizes and are mainly used in corridors.

What are the Key Benefits of Mineral Fibre Ceilings?

Mineral fibre ceilings are an affordable ceiling solution for businesses working on a budget. The price, however, isn’t reflected in the quality, with certain ceiling tiles offering advanced acoustic protection, increased light reflectance, humidity resistance and more, all to optimise the workplace. To discuss the requirements of your mineral fibre ceiling with our experienced team further, or for more general advice on our commercial ceiling options, get in touch today.
