Building a Kitchenette for the Community

The Brief

Our client, Elim Church, is one of our lovely returning customers. Previously, we’ve had the pleasure of working alongside their team to deliver several design and build projects in Cheltenham, including a suspended ceiling installation.

Their latest project, however, was a more unusual task. After their previous experience with our team of commercial fit out contractors, however, they knew they could rely on our team to get the job done right.

The scope of the project included the design, supply and fit out of a brand new kitchenette, to be located inside the church in Cheltenham. Its purpose was to be utilised as a supporting food bank, therefore, our client needed a fully functioning space where the necessary work could be easily carried out at scale.

The Solution

Like all our projects, this one began with an initial survey. During the site visit, we held a meeting with Elim Church to fully understand the needs and functionalities that were required within their new commercial kitchen.

From this, we then established a detailed project brief, ready for our in-house commercial designers to follow. They could easily set about scaling and designing the perfect space to meet each of these requirements.

These commercial kitchen designs were then presented to the client for approval. The 3D designs are incredibly important in this process, as they help them to fully envision the final space. Not only this, but they also help to improve communication with our client and between our internal fit out teams. You can always rest assured that we won’t move on to the next stage of your project until all of your design plans have been signed off.

Once our client was happy with the plans for the church’s kitchen, we set to work. Our design, operations and fitting teams work seamlessly together to ensure smooth project deliverance.
