Demountable & Disruption-Free: A Warehouse Office Fit Out

The Brief

Our client needed additional office space within their large warehouse. Due to the nature of this environment, the office needed to provide a dust-free area with minimal sound interruptions from machinery and other warehouse noise so that staff can focus on work. Their new office was intended to be temporary, therefore, another criterion to cover was the ease with which it could be installed and removed.

The Solution

We began this project by undertaking a comprehensive survey and debrief from our client to fully understand what they needed from this space. Then, using demountable partitioning systems, our commercial fit out team began installing the new office room. Demountable partitioning is the perfect choice for a temporary setting. These partitions are easy to install and remove, with minimal disruption to the external interiors, ready for when our client wants to take them down.

To combat noise interruptions from the surrounding work environment, we installed a lightweight ceiling enclosure for sound protection that would prevent the noise from travelling into the room. We fitted this with LED lighting and insulation to create the ideal office environment.
