Behind the CAT B Fit Out

The Brief

Our client, Viega, had recently moved into a new work unit. Before their staff could return to the office, they believed that their workplace could benefit from some modernisation and were keen to incorporate their recent rebranding colour scheme within their new interiors.

The scope of the project involved CAT B fit out services. On the ground floor, our client predominantly wanted an open plan office space, as well as a large meeting room for their teams.

The first floor was to be split into two functions:

• An area to enhance and showcase their products.
• A main conference area where overseas visitors could attend, with appropriate interiors for our client to hold high-level board meetings.

Our team were only too happy to help out.

The Solution

We began by obtaining a full client brief. Once we clearly understood our client’s vision, we were commissioned to undertake various interior fit out works across both floors.

On the ground floor, we designed and installed a large meeting room. To form the meeting room walls, we used 10mm frameless glass partitioning and full height glass doors. This material of office partitioning allowed maximum exposure of light to still come through into the existing office space.

On the first floor, we stripped back the existing ceiling system, reinstalling a black, acoustic suspended ceiling with associated ceiling gridwork. Once installed, our client’s suspended ceiling was extremely successful as the room acoustics were enhanced. The black suspended ceiling was very on brand with the new company colours and formed a modern workplace.

Once we had completed the CAT B fit out, our client was equipped with high quality interiors to create a great work experience for their team.
