For this project, we were thrilled to work once again with Ubico, an environmental services contractor. Having worked with us before, they knew that they could rely on our team to deliver their project on time and to the highest quality.

More specifically, Ubico required our help with a fit out project where they needed advice on a suitable location for a semi-private meeting space. This was to be located within their existing open plan office.

For this project, it was important that our client had an adaptable partition system that was lightweight and could easily be dismantled if needed.

The Solution

Before we could begin construction, we undertook a full site survey of our client’s office in Gloucester. From this, our experts established all sizes and tolerances needed for the project.

To form our client’s new meeting room, we installed demountable glass partitions. Centre glazed window modules were constructed within the office partitioning systems that allowed borrowed natural light, encouraging flow into the new meeting space. We also installed integral blinds so that our client could improve privacy for more sensitive meetings if needed.

Demountable walls are a type of office partitioning that offer flexibility and versatility. They differ from more standard modules due to their installation. Relocatable partitions, for example, are fitted using an aluminium framework that makes installation and dismantlement easy and simple.

Due to the nature of the fast track partition kit, the installation was completed within just 2 days. This created little disruption to the client’s business and they were able to quickly return to their operations again after the demountable partition installation.
