Minimalist Office Fit Out

The Brief

Our client was looking for help to design efficient interiors in their newly acquired premises in London. As a returning customer to our sister brand, Gravity Office Interiors, we teamed up to ensure a successful installation that ticked all the boxes in our client’s brief. This included a similar minimalist design to their previous commercial interior project, whilst still creating a space that optimised work and motivated staff. The client was interested in an open plan office, therefore, a challenge arose to section zones in their building that facilitated meetings, breaks, focus-based working and more, without the use of structural walls.

The Solution

Before any installation, we drew up 2D and 3D office plans to ensure we really understood the client’s vision. From these graphics, we were able to clearly map out efficient space planning, using zoning products to divide work areas without the use of solid partitioning. This gave the illusion of a bigger office space and connected the office as a whole, meaning meetings, focused work and collaborative sessions were fully facilitated. 3D renders are a vital step in office re-fits, as changes can easily be made before anything has been set in stone. This can end up saving time and money, as well as improve communications about the final office design with the client.

The refurbished office needed to follow a minimalist style. To achieve this, we used a monochrome colour palette throughout the workplace, with cool white work surfaces and black fabrics creating a clean and spacious appearance. This interior style also complemented the office’s exposed ceilings and wooden-effect flooring, creating a stripped-back and stylish space.

When it came to installation, our commercial fit out contractors delivered both on time and on budget.
